The road safety landscape in Ecuador is critical compared to America in general. In 2021, a total of 19,663 victims were recorded in traffic accidents. The alarming nature of this situation led SEGINUS to generate alliances with key actors to carry out the First Meeting to Pave the Way for the Circular Economy. The purpose of the Meeting was to minimize the damage and effects caused by road accidents, in order to safeguard physical integrity by eliminating and/or reducing risk factors for citizens.
